Third Sunday in Lent March 8, 2026

St. Paul tells us that Christ was the spiritual Rock from which Israel drank in the desert. The woman at the well soon found out that this same Rock was standing before her, offering her the true thirst-quenching water. Once we have partaken of Christ there is no need to thirst after things of this world. He thirsted on the cross in our place to fill us with His forgiveness and life.
