We usually think of hospitals is the place to go for physically sick or injured, and the church as the place for when we need spiritual healing and care. But the fact is, we pray for the sick and the insured in public worship and that says a lot about the connection between physical illness and spiritual well-being. We acknowledge that physical illness is a symptom of an underlying condition of this fallen world that we called sin.
