Today we celebrate Maundy Thursday. You can do this at home with a simple Seder dinner, representing Christ’s last supper as well as the deliverance for the Hebrews that God accomplished in the exodus. If you have not done so already, please click here for Family Seder instructions.
Our Good Friday service will be a meaningful service of candles and readings, representing the death of Jesus on the cross for the forgiveness of our sins. This service will be made available on April 10th.
Celebrating the resurrection of our Lord and Savior, the Easter service will be available to view on Saturday, April 11th.
In compliance with the Governor’s instructions, we strongly encourage members of the congregation to stay safely at home as we continue to fight the COVID-19 virus. With this in mind, we will no longer be inviting members into the church for Confession and Communion. The office will remain open M-F from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. If you need any assistance, please call the church office at 843-871-5444.
We have been putting resources, including recorded worship services, Bible studies, children’s messages and other information, on line for your use. Be sure to visit our YouTube and Facebook pages for both new and old content.

Update on Services & Activities at Grace
To the members of Grace Lutheran Church, we pray that you are all staying calm and healthy during the current health crisis that we face. We ask that you continue to follow the recommendations of the Center for Disease Control (CDC). These precautions are not only important for your own safety but for the health and welfare of the entire community. With these recommendations in mind, the Elders have decided to cancel all in-house worship services and all other church activities for the next few weeks. The church office will remain open and church staff will be available to you during normal business hours.
In lieu of worship services in the sanctuary, Grace will be recording and posting the services, in their entirety, on our YouTube channel. This Sunday’s service will be available, along with the bulletin and announcement page on Friday. A reminder, including the links, will be emailed to the congregation via Constant Contact. In addition, links will be included for the Adult Bible Class and a message for the children with accompanying activities. All links will be conveniently located on the same email. If you have any difficulty accessing any of the above, please contact the church office. Beginning Thursday, March 26th, Grace will be offering Confession and Absolution, Communion and Prayer in the Sanctuary during the following times: Thursdays from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, Fridays from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Sundays from 8:00 – 11:00 AM. Elders will be in the parking lot and under the portico to assist you in an effort to keep the number of people inside the building to a minimum. Please remember to keep connected with those who are most vulnerable in your community and family. It’s also important to remember that the world has not suddenly become a scary, isolating place, but that these social distancing and hygienic precautions are here to stop the spread of this infectious disease. As a church we will come together to assist our fellow members in any way possible. If you are having any problem running errands, shopping for groceries or making it to doctor appointments, please contact the church office.
If you would like to be a volunteer during this time, you may also contact the church office. Lastly, during this time of electronic communication, please be sure to check your email often.
Romans 8:35, 37-39 – Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword?… 37 No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. 38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, 39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
