The Protestant Reformation began in 1517 when a Roman Catholic priest, Martin Luther, challenged some of the teachings of the church. It is not an exaggeration to suggest that the Reformation changed the world, but Luther didn’t want to start a new church. He wanted to make changes in Catholicism, the faith in which he had been ordained. But his suggestions were rejected and he was branded a heretic.

Through five water themed Bible lessons, we will experience together the soul-quenching grace that surrounds us in Jesus. Over our week together, we will explore our Biblical accounts through storytelling, snacks, crafts, and games that show us the overflowing grace of God in Jesus.
You can register your children age preschool to 6th grade online below, or call or email Deaconess Karen Suter at 843-871-5444 or deaconess@gracesummerville.org. When you register online, you only need to register for one day. We will know that they will attend all week!

Grace Lutheran is starting a monthly, evening Women’s Bible Study on the first Thursday of
each month. If you are interested in participating, please see Deaconess Karen Suter or place
your name on the sign-up sheet in the Narthex.
Tickets are now on sale for the Sowers of the Kingdom 4th annual Oyster Roast and Square Dance on Feb. 18th from 12:00 – 4:30 PM.
The cost is: $25 for 12 and over, $10 for ages 5-12 and kids under 5 are free!
Ticket price includes Oysters, Chili, Hot Dogs, Chips and Popcorn. See John Kinney between the services or the church office during the week. All proceeds will benefit our mission work in the Dominican Republic.
